REV23 Support Notice: Cloud Calendar issues
Some REV23 Desktop users are reporting issues with their Cloud Calendar not syncing and an error message that says:
Cannot Verify Server Identity
The identity of blob.mytattoostudio.com cannot be verified.
Cause
Users that setup Cloud Calendar prior to late 2021 or so are using an older version of the link that does not use an SSL certificate. Users that are not experiencing this error do not need to follow these steps as the updated link has been sent out for over a year in Cloud Calendar emails. This affects older users only.
Resolution
To fix this issue you must remove the old calendar from your device which uses the older version of this link and reconfigure Cloud Calendar for that device.
- Remove the calendar from your device. On iOS that is in Settings > Calendar > Accounts > (your Cloud Calendar) > Delete
- Send yourself a new Cloud Calendar link from REV23 Desktop > Security > Employees > (open a user account) > Send Cloud Calendar Email
- ON iOS REMEMBER TO SETUP YOUR FETCH SETTINGS FOR THIS CALENDAR TO KEEP IT UP TO DATE!
